This design grew, adapted
and transformed with much discussion and meetings
before we even considered breaking ground! This is our
greatest example of allowing the design process to
unfold, with a tremendous amount of collaboration with
the clients, at every stage of the design, build and
installation process.
The clients’ desire was to create an artistic
well-designed space, while allowing for parking for
this home and office space. After deciding on a basic
design and breaking ground–we, again, modified
materials choices and design to fit the space best. It
was very exciting for us to work with clients’ who, as
designers, expressed great interest in all aspects of
the process—very much a collaboration of the minds!
Plant selection here was mostly natives with some
well-adapted additions.
